Note that you cannot take a bus directly to Phu Quoc as you have to stop at certain ferry terminals such as Rach Gia, Ha Tien, and then go by boat to Phu Quoc Island.
How to travel from Can Tho to Phu Quoc?
Travel by plane

From Ha Tien, buy tickets for the high-speed boat or Ha Tien – Phu Quoc high-speed ferry for 7 € – 12 €, the travel time is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Given that the distance from Ha Tien to Phu Quoc is only 45 km compared to 120 km from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc, the fare will therefore be much cheaper.
